Ricochet Cellars is the evolution of a non-commercial winemaking project among a group of friends. Ricochet’s key personnel met via wine related websites and forums many years ago and have become friends and business partners.
The five of us decided, in the summer of 2006, to start this commercial venture and formed Ricochet Cellars. 2006 production is estimated to be only 175 cases.
Ricochet’s wines are made in small lots using only premium quality ingredients, everything from fruit to barrels. Owned by a passionate group of wine collectors, we strive to make a wine we are truly proud to call our own.
Ricochet sources grapes by developing established relationships with excellent vineyard owners and growers across California, to support our portfolio. Different varietals thrive in different areas, so this approach allows us to get the right fruit from the most ideal location.
